John Cleese
John Cleese, British Comic Actor and Writer, started his carreer as a Cambridge undergraduate in the Footlights Revue 1963. He appeared in the Broadway production of "Half a Sixpence" and returned to Britain to write and perform in such television series as “The Frost Report” and "Monty Python's Flying Circus,“ an anarchic series that changed the face of British television humor with its inspired lunacy, surreal comedy, and animated graphics. The troupe subsequently collaborated on such films as “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” “The Life of Brian,” and ”The Meaning of Life.” Cleese then enjoyed spectacular success as the writer and star of the series “Fawlty Towers” and the film "A Fish Called Wanda.“ Later films include "Clock Wise,” "Fierce Creatures,” “Mary Shelles Frankenstien," "The Out of Towners,” “Rat Race," ”Die Another Day,” and "Shrek 2.”

Dick Francis
Dick Francis, international best-selling author, has been translated into more than 30 languages. Each of his novels has also been recorded on audio tape in both Britain and the United States, and five have been adapted for film or television. Francis was made an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1984, and was promoted to Commander of the Order (CBE) in June 2000. He was awarded the British Crime Writers' Association's Silver Dagger in 1965, Gold Dagger in 1980 and Cartier Diamond Dagger for his life's work in 1990. He is the recipient of four Edgar Allen Poe Awards from the Mystery Writers of America, three for Best Novel of the Year. The Mystery Writers of America also named him Grand Master in 1996 for his life's work. In 1998, Dick Francis was elected as a Fellow of The Royal Society of Literature.
