Day 1    SYDNEY

Disembark the ship and transfer to the Four Seasons Hotel where you have an enviable view across the stunning city skyline, Harbor Bridge, Opera House and a flotilla of sail boats plying the harbor waters. The remainder of the afternoon and evening is at leisure.

Day 2    SYDNEY / AYERS ROCK

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight to Ayers Rock A light lunch will be served before setting off on an afternoon tour to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, a World Heritage site. Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) is comprised of 36 monstrous domes each smooth rounded mass divided by slender chasms or broader valleys and has a total circumference of fourteen miles. Following your tour, check in to your hotel, the Sails in the Desert Resort. Late afternoon a wonderful experience awaits you. Travel out into the desert and perched atop one of the highest dunes, sipping champagne and enjoying outback canapés watch the renowned Red Center sunset with its ever-changing colors. Dinner this evening is in the desert under the stars, featuring an outback barbecue of Aussie dishes and produce. An experienced astronomer will point out particular star systems and perhaps even your own star sign.

Day 3    AYERS ROCK / ALICE SPRINGS

This morning following breakfast you will be taken to Ayers Rock, a massive monolith that is one of the world’s natural wonders. Continue to the Cultural Center with its strikingly innovative design. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Alice Springs. Here, you’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour of this interesting town in the “heart” of Australia and lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This evening, it’s time for the “Take a Camel to Dinner” Experience. View the scenery and relish in your one-hour camel safari along the Todd River with the sun setting on strikingly beautiful River Gums and the MacDonnell Ranges. Enjoy a scrumptious, home-cooked three-course dinner at Humpfree’s Restaurant. Return to the hotel with the remainder of the evening at leisure.

Day 4    ALICE SPRINGS / SYDNEY

Rise early this morning and transfer to the outback for your pre-dawn ballooning adventure. The balloon is inflated as the sun’s first rays creep over the desert sands. Once airborne you drift over the rugged landscape and watch as the ancient red land awakes. On landing a delicious chicken and sparkling wine breakfast will be waiting. Afterwards, return to the hotel and enjoy some leisure time and lunch at the hotel before transferring to the airport for the flight to Sydney. Upon arrival you’ll return to the Four Seasons Hotel. Dinner this evening will be on your own.

Day 5    SYDNEY

Breakfast this morning is in the hotel. Following a morning at leisure and lunch on your own, we’ll transfer to the airport for return flights home.
